More than a century of caring... still as modern as today!
Established by the Grand Chapter of Illinois in 1895, the Eastern Star Home at Macon has provided comfort, refuge, and outstanding care for the sisters of our Order for more than a century. Yet, there is nothing "old fashioned" about the Home. A multi-year restoration project, completed in 2003, has resulted in a state-of-the-art facility capable of providing the most advanced nursing care for the ladies in residence. In this web site, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Home, read about the many activities provided for the residents, and take an electronic "tour" of the facilities.
